What door-to-door can mean in practice
The route can begin at a Chinese supplier and end at an accessible factory, warehouse, yard or residence in Europe, the United States or Canada. Between those points, the plan may include pickup, consolidation, packing, export handling, international freight, customs coordination and final-mile transport.
Door-to-door does not automatically mean every physical action at the address. The named unloading point, vehicle access and unloading responsibility must still be defined.
What a duty-paid quote must state
A useful duty-paid quote identifies the seller or customer context, named destination, cargo, origin, route and customs or tax scope. HYHF uses shipment-specific written confirmation rather than assuming the same tax treatment for every country or cargo.
If the quote does not explicitly include duties or taxes, do not infer them from the word door-to-door. Ask for the all-in scope to be written before payment.

Documents and invoice expectations
Tell HYHF before booking if you need to import in your own name, obtain import VAT documentation or use a specific customs structure. Those requirements can change whether the proposed arrangement is suitable.
A local transport-service invoice may be available through the destination transport provider for some shipments, with the applicable VAT borne by the buyer. It is not the same as an import customs or import VAT document.
Questions to ask before payment
- What is the exact named destination and address type?
- Which pickup, packing, customs, tax and delivery charges are included?
- When does the planning time start, and what can delay it?
- Who unloads the cargo from the final-mile vehicle?
- Which changes can create additional charges after booking?
Frequently asked questions
Is door-to-door always DDP?
No. Door-to-door describes the physical route. Duties and taxes are included only when the written quote confirms the customs and tax arrangement.
Does DDP include unloading?
Not automatically. HYHF's standard handover is at the customer-designated accessible unloading point. Unloading and inside delivery require separate confirmation.
Can the customer be the importer of record?
Do not assume this under a HYHF duty-paid arrangement. If importing in your own name or obtaining import VAT documents matters, state that requirement before booking.
Can I receive one all-in price?
For eligible shipments, HYHF can prepare a written all-in logistics quote after the cargo, origin, named destination, packing and delivery conditions are reviewed.
