Describe the site before booking
Send the full address, postcode, address type, road and gate restrictions, parking or stopping rules, loading dock details and appointment requirements. Photos or a map pin can help when the access is unusual.
A residence with a wide private yard is different from a city-centre apartment, even when both are called residential delivery.
Who removes the cargo from the vehicle
HYHF's standard delivery scope ends at the customer-designated accessible unloading point. The customer prepares a forklift, crane, pallet jack, suitable labor or other equipment according to the weight and dimensions.
Unloading, carrying inside, stairs, elevators, room placement, assembly and installation are not included unless a separate written arrangement confirms them.
Tell the operations team before booking if no forklift or unloading labor will be available. The final-mile vehicle and quote may need to change.
Match equipment to the heaviest piece
Do not choose unloading equipment from the total shipment weight alone. Use the heaviest single piece, its dimensions, centre of gravity, pallet or lifting points and required reach.
The equipment operator should confirm capacity and site suitability. HYHF can share the packed cargo data but does not replace the destination operator's safety assessment.
Avoidable causes of failed delivery
- The vehicle cannot enter the road, gate, yard or loading area.
- No appointment was booked for a controlled site.
- The unloading equipment is rated below the heaviest piece.
- The customer expected inside delivery that was not in the written scope.
- Contact details or delivery hours were incomplete.
Frequently asked questions
Does HYHF only deliver to the roadside?
No. Delivery is to the customer-designated accessible unloading point. A vehicle may enter a factory, warehouse, yard or residence when access is safe, legal and confirmed.
Is a tail-lift truck always available?
Do not assume it. Tail-lift capacity, cargo size and local vehicle availability must be checked for the destination and shipment.
Who arranges the forklift?
The customer normally arranges suitable unloading equipment and labor unless the written quote confirms a separate service.
Can the driver carry furniture inside?
Not under the standard service. Inside carrying, stairs, room placement and installation need separate local arrangements.
