Container truck and warehouse yard representing an international ocean-freight departure

Route comparison

Choose the channel by cargo fit, destination and urgency.

Ocean, air, rail and truck are not four prices for the same service. Each route has different market coverage and handling limits.

Short answer

Ocean and air freight serve HYHF destinations in Europe, the United States and Canada. China-Europe truck and rail routes are considered only for eligible European destinations. The best channel depends on packed size, weight, urgency, destination, customs and final delivery.

Ocean freight

Ocean is usually the practical base for bulky furniture, mixed building-material orders and heavier cargo because volume cost is generally more manageable than air. It serves Europe, the United States and Canada.

For European planning, HYHF currently uses about 45-55 days from warehouse acceptance as a typical reference. Destination, sailing, customs and final-mile conditions can change it.

Air freight

Air is considered for urgent cargo that fits airline size, chargeable-weight, packing and acceptance rules. The cost is driven by actual or volumetric weight, whichever applies under the carrier's rule.

A planning reference of about seven days may be used after warehouse acceptance, but the actual route and destination still need confirmation.

China-Europe truck and rail

Truck and rail are land-route options for eligible European cargo and destinations. They are not routes to the United States or Canada.

HYHF currently uses about 15-20 days from warehouse acceptance as a planning reference for eligible China-Europe truck or rail shipments. Availability depends on capacity, cargo, terminal, customs and final-mile connection.

A practical comparison

OceanEurope, USA, Canada; bulky or heavier cargo; typically lower urgency
AirEurope, USA, Canada; urgent cargo within airline limits
TruckEligible European routes; land corridor and onward delivery
RailEligible European routes; terminal and final-mile connection required

Planning time begins when cargo enters the HYHF warehouse and the required shipment information and conditions are ready. No channel time is guaranteed.

Frequently asked questions

Which route is cheapest?

There is no universal answer. Ocean is often practical for bulky cargo, but pickup, packing, customs, final delivery, dimensions and urgency must be compared in one scope.

Can truck or rail ship to the United States or Canada?

No. The truck and rail options described by HYHF are China-Europe routes. The United States and Canada are served through ocean or air planning.

Are the published times guaranteed?

No. They are planning references. Capacity, customs, inspections, weather, holidays, appointments and final-mile conditions affect actual timing.

When does the timing start?

After the shipment enters the HYHF warehouse and the required shipment information and operating conditions are ready.
